Long-sought commercial flights to Cache Valley unlikely until airlines’ fortunes turn

Will Cache Valley people ever get to fly right out of Logan instead of making the 100-mile trek to Salt Lake International Airport?
Most definitely, say officials. But when? Who knows, they say.
A couple of times in the last five years it’s seemed an airline landing at Logan-Cache Airport was imminent; but each time something’s gone wrong, and today the airport seems to be in the same spot it’s been in for awhile, with the airport having the facilities and plans to support passenger service and carriers liking the Logan market but none taking the leap.
