Cache County sales tax collection flattens
While Cache County’s sales tax collection showed strong signs of growth at the beginning of the year, the past few months haven’t been as solid. Still, the county has seen increases in each month from January through May — the most current available — over the 2010 figures. For instance, in March, the county collected $339,531 — up from $330,463 in 2010, but down considerably from $391,651 in 2007 and $392,715 in 2008. Herald Journal
